Designer: Saudjie Cross-Crook

Saudjie started the Weathertop Collection in 1987 on a mountaintop in California overlooking the Pacific Ocean. In her studio surrounded by her Labradors she designed and created the Weathertop Collection with her trademark Labrador central to all of her designs.

Her leads are used by top breeders around the world and her quilts have been presented as Best of Breed trophies at dog shows throughout the world. In 2000 she designed her first handbag.

Having combined breeding programs with her husband, John Crook, they have bred and exhibited Labrador Retrievers under the affix Balrion at Weathertop. Their Labradors are recognized as some of the best show bred Labs in the world and she also worked her dogs. Her husband bred and owned the Best in Show winning Labrador, Sh Ch Balrion King Frost, who became a British Breed Record Holder. They traveled the world judging Labs and spoke at breed seminars.

In 2003 they moved with 10 Labradors from Carmel, California back to North Wales where she worked surrounded by the green Welsh hills and lots and lots of sheep.

In 2019 John Crook passed away and in 2023 Saudjie has decided to transmit Weathertop Collection to someone she entrusts the most and feels like family, and someone who would feel the energy of the brand and will treat it with the love and care everybody expects.
Milla Demireva toke over Weathertop Collection in November 2023 and the famous leads are now produced in full speed in Europe.

"I am extremelly honored to adopt a brand I've always admired and has been in my life for over 20 years. Weathertop Collection is not just leads. Weathertop Collection is jewelry for dogs. The leads are slippery so you can easily show your dogs or take it on a walk and keep in your pocket, its that simple, easy and beautiful" - Milla
